Artificial intelligence and mechatronics laboratory of IIT Bhubaneswar basically focused on training the students to acquire skills related to the development of new machines/robots that possess extraordinary skills by utilizing the concept of artificial intelligence.

The lab mostly focuses on the following areas:

(1) Development of biologically inspired robots.

(2) Development of various control strategies to operate the robots.

(3) Control and tracking of moving objects using parallel manipulator. 

(4) Design and development of exoskeletons for the lower body and rehabilitation devices.

(5) Design and development of MEMS.
